Morag Paul wurde im Jahr 1964 in Schottland in eine künstlerische Familie hinein geboren. Nach ihrem Studium der Philosophie und Fremdsprachen an der Universität von Glasgow hat sie sich ständig auf dem Gebiet der Aquarellmalerei weitergebildet. Sie hat an zalhreichen Workshops und Ausstellungen in Schottland, Deutschland, Frankreich, Holland,  Belgien und Luxemburg teilgenommen. Morag hat sich dem Medium Aquarell gewidmet, weil es sich so gut dafür eignet ihre Lieblingsmotive Natur und Landschaft an Ort und Stelle zu malen. Das Ergebnis ist ein freier, dennoch figurativer Stil, und Landschaften, die wirklich "leben".

Morag Paul was born into an artistic family in Scotland in 1964 - both her father and grandfather were watercolour artists.  She studied foreign languages and Philosophy at the University of Glasgow but found time to continually develop her watercolour painting skills, taking part in numerous exhibitions in Scotland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Morag has devoted herself to the medium of watercolour since it is so perfectly suited to her technique of painting her favourite subjects - nature and landscape - outdoors. The result is a free and yet figurative style - landscapes that are truly "vibrant".

Morag Paul is in 1964 geboren in Schotland uit een kunstenaars-familie, haar vader en grootvader waren beiden aquarellisten. Na haar studie van talen en filosofie heeft zij zich aan de kunst gewijd met workshops en tentoonstellingen in Schotland, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Luxemburg, Nederland en België . Haar favoriete onderwerpen zijn de natuur en het landschap. Morag heeft zich speciaal op de aquareltechniek toegelegd omdat de eigenschappen hiervan zich zo perfect lenen om buiten te werken en omdat het zo goed aansluit bij haar vrije, maar toch figuratieve manier van schilderen. Het resultaat hiervan zijn heel levendige landschappen.

Morag Paul est née en 1964 en Ecosse dans une famille d´ artistes – son père et son grandpère étaient tous deux aquarellistes. Elle a etudié les langues et la philosophie à l´ Université de Glasgow et parallèlement a toujours trouvé du temps pour développer sa technique de peinture en aquarelle. Elle a participée de nombre de stages et expositions en Ecosse, Allemagne, France, Luxembourg, Pays Bas et Belgique. Morag s´ est essentiellement concentrée sur la pratique d l´aquarelle, cette technique étant particulièrement appropriée à la peinture en plein air et à ses motifs favourisées - la nature et les paysages. Le résultat est un stil très libre qui reste cependant très figuratif -  les paysages qui sont vraiment “vivant”.
